SQL DBA

Charles Simon Associates are currently looking for a SQL DBA on a permanent basis for prestigious client based in Stoke on Trent. This is a family run business with an excellent history and an even better future. As the SQL DBA, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of data systems.

 

Location: Stoke on Trent

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 Per Annum

 

Skills/Requirements for the SQL DBA:

• Previous experience within a similar role is vital
• Familiarity of SQL API’s
• Maintaining and supporting the current SQL Database
• SSRS and SSIS are highly desirable
• Strong T-SQL experience
• Extensive MS Excel

 

Start date is ASAP for the SQL DBA

 

The SQL DBA will be responsible for:

• Managing and maintaining our SQL Server databases, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
• Performing backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity
• Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design, develop and implement database solutions to support business operations
• Develop and maintain database documentation and procedures
• Continuously improve data quality and accuracy to drive better decision-making
