BI Developer

Charles Simon Associates are currently recruiting for a BI Developer on a 6 month contract for a fast growing business based in Northampton.

 

Location: Northampton

Rate: £350 - £450 per day D.O.E

 

Skills/Requirements for the BI Developer:

  • Extensive previous experience within a similar role
  • Strong hands on skills writing reports within PowerBi
  • Experience of DAX
  • Experience of using Json as a data source
  • Extensive SQL server experience
  • SSRS and SSIS is highly desirable


Start date is ASAP for the BI Developer

 

The BI Developer will be responsible for:

  • Producing Power BI reports defined from KPIs set for each company department.
  • Using a modern approach to report design, research custom visual to further enhance report analysis.
  • Producing documentation on calculations and changes made.
  • Providing an organised and efficient approach to report design, the data structure and connections.
  • Working with the training department to get reports embedded within the business.
  • Continuing to build the central data warehouse, all within Microsoft SQL.
  • Creating new SQL views that will feed Power BI reports.
