Full Stack Developer

Charles Simon Associates are currently looking for a Full Stack Developer on a permanent basis for a prestigious and fast growing business based in Manchester. This role is FULLY remote.

 

Location: Fully Remote

Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 per annum

 

Skills/Requirements for the Full stack Developer:

  • At least 4 years previous Full Stack experience
  • Extensive experience around: HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Strong back end programming languages such as: PHP, Node.JS, Ruby-on-rails or Python
  • Ability to be creative in coding, with a problem solving approach
  • Previous experience of working both independently on multiple projects in addition to working in a wider team
  • Experience of working within XML and JSON
  • Must have experience of working within an E-Commerce environment
  • Knowledge of SEO

 

Start date is ASAP for the Full Stack Developer

 

The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for:

  • Developing RESTful API services, including, JavaScript, JSON and XML
  • Version control (Git / GitHub)
  • Managing multiple sites across UK and EU territories
  • Leading on technical projects, ensuring all requirements such as customer experience, functionality and future code framework is managed and setup for future growth
  • Ensuring the site code is stable and audited on a regular basis
  • Creating responsive web pages with excellent usability, working in collaboration with the Ecommerce team on UX, wireframes and testing
  • Managing the full tech stack of the digital business, looking at ways to improve code structure and working with the Head of Ecommerce on future requirements.
