Cloud Native Engineer

Cloud Engineer (Cloud, Azure, AWS, Security, Automation, IAC , Ansible , Architecture)

Charles Simon Associates are currently looking for a Cloud Native Engineer for an award winning business based in central Manchester.

Location: Manchester

Salary: £60,000

Skills/Requirements for the Cloud Native Engineer.

Assist in defining processes and standards, following Open-Source best practices and keep abreast of industry technology trends.

Responsible for the build and development of our clients products and platforms before they are transitioned into the 24 x 7 BAU support teams.

System design consulting, developing software platform frameworks, automation, testing deployment and release.

A strong understanding of enterprise level security, secure development and use of security tools to provide efficient development of robust code and automated assurance.

Excellent knowledge of Cloud Native Technologies.

Experience with Public Cloud & Multi Cloud Services. (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

Deep understanding of CI/CD best practices, IaC – Terraform, Ansible, Containers – Kubernetes and Cloud security awareness.

Strong knowledge in automation delivery.

Desirable Skills for the Cloud Native Engineer

Previous DevOps experience

Experience of Jenkins, GitHub, Ansible, Python, Hyper Converged Infrastructure and VMware
