Systems Manager

Charles Simon Associates are currently looking for a Systems Manager on a permanent basis for our national client based in Stoke on Trent.

 

Location: Stoke on Trent

Salary: £45,000-£50,000 per annum

 

Skills/Requirements for the Systems Manager:

  • Previous experience of running and managing an ERP system, with a focus on Manufacturing specific ERP’s such as: Epicor, Dynamics, IFS, and Infor
  • This is a hands-on position so experience as a programmer is essential.
  • Experience of working with both AS400 and RPGile.
  • Previous experience of implementing an ERP would be highly desirable.
  • Ability to be a good people manager as well as a hands-on techie.

 

 

Start date for the Systems Manger is ASAP

 

The Systems Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing the small development team on a day to day basis
  • Providing reports and information to the board
  • Getting involved with fixes and updates when needed from a programming perspective.
  • Putting a business case together to install a new ERP system to replace the current inhouse system.
  • Working with stakeholders on create internal process enhancements and provide feedback on functionality and usability.
  • managing 3rd party relationship and negotiating new contracts.
