IT Support Engineer

Charles Simon Associates are currently looking for an IT Support Engineer on a permanent basis for a well know business based in the Hammersmith area. This role onsite 5 days per week.

 

Location: Hammersmith (onsite 5 days per week)

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum

 

Skills/Requirements for the IT Support Engineer:

  • Previous experience within a similar technical role
  • Strong Active Directory experience
  • Candidates must have strong customer service skills as there is a lot of face to face support
  • Windows 7/10
  • Hardware support around PC’s, Laptops, tablets and phones
  • Windows Server support
  • Mobile Device Management (MDM), any product would be good with a higher preference for Intune or Jamf
  • Apple OS is highly desirable
  • Basic networking skills around DNS, DHCP and TCP/IP
  • Any MS Azure experience is highly desirable

 

Start date is ASAP for the IT Support Engineer

 

The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Being the 1st point of contact for all service requests
  • Triaging and prioritising all support calls/face to face requests and escalating if needed
  • Providing support to the highest level you can, the business expects first call fix with only a small amount of tickets being escalated.
  • Diagnosing and resolving basic issues with Desktops, laptops, mobile devices and other hardware
  • Assisting the business where needed on large scale Infrastructure projects
  • Building and setting up laptops and desktops
  • Identifying and troubleshooting network issues
  • Providing software support and training to staff around OS, Google and Adobe software
