Service Desk Analyst

Charles Simon Associates are currently looking for a 1st Line Engineer on a permanent basis for our prestigious national business based in West Drayton. This is an opportunity to get into a business which has a fantastic reputation for progressing and training of IT staff.

 

Location: West Drayton

Salary: Up to £25,000 per annum

 

Skills/Requirements for the 1st Line Support Engineer:

  • Excellent communicator both written and verbally
  • Previous Service/Help Desk experience Windows, O365, (Outlook - Exchange/ Google mail), fault diagnosis & AD (Active Directory)
  • The ability to work well alone and under pressure
  • Analytical Skills
  • Clear and professional telephone manner

 

Start date is ASAP for the 1st Line Support Engineer

 

The 1st Line Support Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Troubleshooting user problems and providing assistance
  • Supporting all staff in the use of IT Services and provide MIS support
  • Providing a technical input in the use of new or upgraded hardware/software and recommending and leading on their implementation
  • Bespoke Application Management and Support
  • Workstation management - hardware, software, peripherals and input/output devices
  • Providing accurate service reporting and root cause analysis on all reported issues
  • Maintaining up to date inventories of hardware & software
