Service Desk Manager

Charles Simon Associates are looking to recruit a Service Desk Manager on a permanent basis for our prestigious client based in Handforth. This is the opportunity to work for a truly inspiring business that has grown extensively over recent years.

 

Location: Handforth

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum D.O.E

 

The Skills/Requirements for the Service Desk Manager are:

  • Previous experience managing teams, ideally up to 8/10 people
  • Setting up and enforcing fresh SLA’s and KPI’s within the team
  • Providing hands on escalation support for the team
  • Hands on support of O365 and Active Directory
  • Hands on Support of Mobile Devices is highly desirable

 

Start date is ASAP for the Service Desk Manager

 

The Service Desk Manager will be responsible for:

  • Creating new and improved SLA’s and KPI’s for the Service Desk team and making sure the implementation and adherence is followed
  • Establishing strong relationships internally with high level Stakeholders in addition to 3rd party Stakeholders where needed.
  • Providing the escalation point for the Service Desk team with tasks and troubleshooting that couldn’t be completed by them
  • Assisting the business in providing ideas to future proof their IT moving forwards
  • Ensuring that company compliance has been followed through the Service Desk team
  • Participating in the IT Governance meetings and providing information to assist these meetings where needed
  • Analysing the Service Desk performance based on the new SLA’s and KPI’s on a monthly basis and providing reports to the IT Director and board members where needed.
