Cloud Engineer

Charles Simon Associates are currently looking to recruit a Cloud Engineer on a permanent basis for our client based in Central Manchester. This role is for a Global Business who are a leader in their industry.

 

This is a brand new opportunity for an experienced Cloud Engineer with a couple of years exposure to Azure, Azure Virtual Machines, AzureAD and O365 that is looking for role where they can gain exposure to large scale projects and the latest cloud technologies.

Location: Manchester

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 Per Annum

Skills/Requirements for the Cloud Engineer:

Previous experience within a similar role

Strong MS Azure and/or AWS experience

AzureAD experience

Azure Virtual Machines

Strong BAU Support & Project delivery

O365 experience

Any AWS experience is highly desirable

PowerShell experience is highly desirable

 

Start date is ASAP for the Cloud Engineer

 

The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for:

Becoming the subject matter expert for Microsoft Azure Cloud Infrastructure

Designing and configuring the current Azure systems when needed

Providing technical support for Cloud and on Prem Infrastructure when needed

Being the escalation point from the Service Desk for any Cloud related end point resolutions

Providing day to day BAU support for the MS Azure system, including Patch Management and general configuration

Project delivery, including migration from on-prem systems as and when

Providing ad-hoc support to the AWS system within the business when needed
