IT Field Engineer

Charles Simon Associates are currently recruiting for an IT Field Engineer on a permanent basis for our prestigious client based in Nuneaton. This role will require travel to the East Midlands regions of Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.

Salary: £25,000 per annum Plus £3,000 car allowance

Location: Nuneaton

Skills/Requirements for the IT Field Engineer:

• Previous experience in a similar Field based role is key or a willingness to travel
• Experience of Windows desktops including 7/8 and 10
• Strong mobile device experience with both Tablets and phones
• Ability to work within an ITIL environment
• O365 experience including adding new users and mailboxes
• Experience of working with Android and if possible iOS
• InTune experience in order to roll out updates on mobile devices
• Active Directory experience

Desirable Skills:

• Wi-Fi
• General network troubleshooting

Start date is ASAP for the IT Field Engineer

The IT Field Engineer will be responsible for:

• Providing field, office based and remote support to users
• Managing and maintaining the Mobile Platform
• Ensuring that the Manage Engine Service Desk is up to date and accurate
• Providing Printer Support for the Hybrid Print Solution
• Supporting with Mobilisations and Go-Lives
• Completing site visits and audits to maintain compliance
• Being an escalation point for all calls that need additional support
