IT Project Manager – (IT, Agile, Project Management, Waterfall, Visio, Prince2, Budgets, Stakeholder Management, Reporting) – Permanent – Coventry

 

Charles Simon Associates are currently recruiting an IT Project Manager on a permanent basis for a very prestigious national business based in Coventry.

Location: Coventry

Salary: up to £50,000 per annum

Skills/Requirements for the IT Project Manager:

  • Previous experience as an IT Project Manager is vital
  • Experience of using methodologies such as; Prince2, Agile and/or Waterfall
  • Budgeting and budget accountability experience
  • Extensive experience of using MS Office products in addition to PM technologies such as Project or Visio
  • Experience of working within strict and short timelines
  • Strong Stakeholder Management skills
  • Experience of implementing a wide range of IT projects in the past

Start date is ASAP for the IT Project Manager

The IT Project Manager will be responsible for:

  • Defining, planning and managing implementation of systems across multiple business initiatives
  • Dealing with 3rd party companies and suppliers
  • Ensuring smooth transition from existing systems to new ones
  • Maintaining the costing budgets and timelines for each projects completed
  • Creating and building relationships with Stakeholders in the business both face to face and remotely
  • Ensure risks, issues, costs, benefits and changes are identified, managed and escalated to any Steering Group or such committee and any relevant issue or risk register as required. Ensure appropriate level of documentation is completed from project initiation to sign-off.
  • Ensuring there are robust project plans that are communicated to the stakeholders and managed to completion, flagging delays and updating plans as required.
  • Monitor and report project progress against business objectives identified in the business case to project stakeholders.
  • Assisting the Reporting Team to carry out analysis of project data and documentation to provide effective reporting and project governance throughout the project lifetime.
